Camy the Chameleon

A curious little chameleon who helps children discover the world one language at a time. Camy isn’t a teacher-authority handing out vocabulary drills — Camy is a companion, exploring right alongside your child.

Camy's personality

Five traits, on every single page.

Camy's character was built with intention — every trait shows up consistently, book after book, so kids feel like they truly know their guide.

Curious

Always asking, always pointing things out. To Camy, every new word is a new adventure waiting to happen.

Kind

Welcoming, never preachy. Camy treats every child like a best friend from the very first page.

Brave

Never afraid to try a tricky word out loud, even if it takes a few tries to get it just right.

Playful

Gentle humor, light wordplay, the occasional silly face — but the learning always lands.

Encouraging

Celebrates effort, not just correct answers. “¡Casi, casi! Try it again with me!”

Why a chameleon?

Chameleons change how they see the world — and how the world sees them.

Learning a second language means shifting how you see and speak, the same way Camy shifts and adapts. It felt like the perfect symbol for a curious kid discovering that words can mean more than one thing, in more than one language.

Our founder’s hope is simple: for Camy to become a character kids genuinely ask for by name — the kind of friendly, familiar face that makes bilingual learning feel like play, not homework.
